Reactiviation Annoucement

I just reactivated my twitter account and going down memory lane with the pictures I had posted. It was during my juicing time. I posted pics of the first time I made shampoo, lip balm, etc. Oh, I have learned a lot since then. I am looking forward to blogging these recipes and more experiences doing homemade for a year, and beyond. I still make my own shampoo, dish washing liquid, laundry detergent and cleaning products. But haven't played darts in awhile.

Joe and I both make jewelry, and our living room is still a studio, we haven't been working on it lately. We want to get back to it. I don't know how long my health will let me to continue to work full time and I need to have another source of income coming in. A Guttural Whine

Last weekend we looked at two properties. I liked both, and decided to put in a offer on one. Mind you, I confirmed from the mortgage company that with the loan program we are pre-approved for allowed manufactured homes as long as they were 2006 and newer. The home we put in the offer was made in 2006. But the next day I got a call from our mortgage loan person that the rules changed and now they don't lend for manufactured home in this state. I like to do my own research and I thought I had done everything right. But even when I do everything right, it turns out to be wrong. This is the problem with depending on more powerful people/organizations then ourselves, we are subject to their whims. The hippie in me wants to drop out of society so badly. We are expected to conform, conform, conform, yet it is never enough. Obligations and serfdom drag us down until we lose hope, creativity and most importantly our very soul. Rough Week...Scalp-wise

So this is the week my hair is falling out, again. It's been two weeks since my last chemo treatment and I have another one next week. My scalp has been so sore, aching and now itching badly. Now my hair is releasing from my head. The rest of the hats I ordered came in. Actually it turned out that they are not hats, but small infinity head scarves. I'll try them, but I may have to sew them so no one sees my soon to be bald scalp. I'm going to go ahead and shave my head this weekend. I may need a chocolate chip cookie afterwards...Sigh. The garden is coming along nicely. Or we shall see when I get home. We are having some really bad storms today and I am afraid the seedlings might not make it. Peace to you for reading.
