Februay Goals and a Revelation
I am going to work on the January goals I didn’t do well on, as well as some new goals. Success in goals means that I will continue them. In one of the health documentaries I watched on Netflix, one of the experts said (and I’m doing some extreme paraphrasing) "to keep incorporating good things into your life and the bad things will get pushed out."
Examples-I will continue to not dine out/order out and sprouting is just too much fun to not continue.
On to the Goals
-Do a juice cleanse for 3 days to restart system –
-Drink at least a gallon of filtered water a day -
-Get at least 6 hours of sleep each night -
-Make own shampoo- Whether I film it or not, this needs to be made. Bar soap dries out the hair.
-Walking 15 minutes at least twice a week. -
-Make own sweets/stop buying store-made desserts- My birthday is this month and my favorite cake is German Chocolate. I have only made this cake using a store bought mix and ready-made frosting. This is a cake I really want to make from scratch. Joe will want to help, I know.
-Exploring different grains, sweeteners, oils, etc. -
-Finish reading the book, "Nourishing Traditions," by Sally Fallon Morell –
The above goals are left over from January. I will am including them with the new goals.
Additional February Goals
-Document meal plans for each week. I have been writing them down in a notebook, but not publishing them. I think this will help with keeping me on track.
-Edit and post video I have posted raw videos, but I need to start editing videos.
-Organize kitchen Kitchens can turn into a catch all for so many things. My kitchen table is unusable for dining because of the canning supplies I’ve allowed to migrate from the cabinets. One part of the kitchen has turned into a spot for some outdoor plants like aloe vera and pineapple plants to winter. And I have been keeping ALL of my small appliances on the counter. I've got plenty of cabinets to store them, I just need to..wait for it...ORGANIZE IT! Don’t get me started on the fridge.
-Start weighing myself once a week touchy subject. I am morbidly obese. There, I said it. I am extremely overweight. There are so many things I want to do, but my weight either makes it impossible or horribly difficult. I know that so many of my ailments would be reversed or lessened by losing weight. More on that as I screw up the courage to talk about it.
Actually, that’s it for February. It’s a short month and my birthday month, so that’s my excuse. Oh wait, I need a third reason…knees.
Thank you for reading. Peace!
